Under the Floorboards

Under the Floorboards is a great RPG that drops players into the world of floor folk, tiny humanoids that live in your house without you knowing. If you’re having trouble picturing it, think The Borrowers (1997).

I backed Under the Floorboards on Kickstarter as part of ZineQuest 2020, and finally ran it with Adam and the gang recently.

Under the Floorboards is different to other RPGs in that players have the ability to be much more creative. Floorfolk don’t have custom designed tools, they have to make what they own. This leads players to describing grappling hooks made out for needles, thread, and mousetraps.
