It might be time to hop back onto Pokémon Go!

The Pokémon Company has been on a roll recently, announcing a spree of upcoming games. These announcements, along with significant improvements to Pokémon Go itself, has dramatically increased downloads.

Did you hop on the Pokémon Go bandwagon in 2016? If you were one of the lucky businesses that had a pokéstop within spinning distance from your front door then you would have been mad not to.

For months we were seeing examples of cafes, museums and shops boosting their attendance by holding pokémon events and promoting their proximity to pokémon go hotspots. Well if you didn’t back then, now might be the time to jump on board!

One game, Pokémon: Let’s Go, has helped spark renewed interest in the real-world AR adventure. The game, rumoured to be a remastered version of the original Pokémon game, integrates with Pokémon Go. Many Pokémon fans that are looking forward to the new game (released in November) are returning to Pokémon Go in preparation.

There is a deep connection between Pokémon GO and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! For one thing, Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region that you have caught in Pokémon GO can be brought into these two new Nintendo Switch games. That’s not all, though. Look forward to more details at a later date.
